Can anyone please give me some leads on obtaining a job in Busan specifically? Are any of you there now? Thank you.

You should go to the Pusan Web Classifieds and look for a job: www.pusanweb.com

Or you should contact James or Mary at [email protected] They're pretty decent as far as recruiters go. I've recommended many people there and have yet to hear back with a complaint.

Thanks TDR. I will do both. I have contacted many recruiters already and even had phone interviews with 2. Tiger, Teachaway, ETJ, Work N Play, etc. None have been useful so far.

TDR:

Does the recruiter Mary and James have a telephone number or website?

I gave them my resume and photo and phone number and after an initial reply from them I have heard nothing more.

I am age 47. Does that prevent me from getting a teaching job in Korea? After initial contact with all the recruiters nothing moves forward.

Thanks for the input.

I can't see age being a problem. I just IM'd them and Mary says: My phone number is 011-9557-2555. Good luck!

Any chance they can help me find a position if I break my current contract early on a midnight run? I know it looks bad but I dont have much of a choice since they are refusing to give me a letter of release.

Dear TDR:

Is the 011 what I must dial from the USA? Isn't the country code for Korea 82? I don't see that number in the one you posted.
