The major religions are inherently violent, intolerant and altogether disgusting. If that crap is supposed to be our moral guide, we're totally screwed.

riiighhhhttttt... So every church is recruiting members, brainwashing them and getting them ready for a war!! QUICK! hide your children! yeahhhhh ok...
put the crack pipe down!!!

You're a joke mate, you pretend to be some sort of agnostic, yet all you do is try to piss all over the rational arguments you are confronted with and spout some kind of hippy dippy spiritual crap.

rational argument??? hahahahahahah what that there is no GOD! lol
so I am a joke becuase I oppose your view? yeah ok mate!!
you believe what you want! and I will remain on the fence which is the correct place to be right now..

If you were honest you would be arguing " I know nothing therefore I cannot comment and withdraw from the debate".

YES! as we all should be doing. Don't you think so!? NOW if you can prove god doesn't exist or you can prove god does. perhaps then we have a new debate! until then. we all nothing...

Be honest to yourself and maybe you can escape with the respect of a few people. Keep doing the ITWG thingy and you'll be left with NOHHHTIIGNNNNG!!

frankly I don't want any respect from Athiests like you! becuase I feel you guys are blinded and are buying into crap! I would respect an Athiest if he admitted to not knowing something, unfortunately all the Athiests here seem to think they are sure there is no god! and frankly they are just to stupid to realise they are wrong.
so keep your respect I don't want it... fact of the matter is..
you guys can't prove your theory, and you can't explain how the first cell arised! actually science cant answer so many questions .. so keep believing everything came from nothing.. and I will argue " I don't know"

Being "on the fence" is not being "correct", it's choosing not to answer.

You don't argue that you don't know, you argue that no one knows (yet are extremely critical of atheism, and not religion...). Big difference there.

How can one answer a question which no one knows the answer to?

Which part of religion should I be critical about? that fact that The Smith's family loads up the car on a Sunday and drives to church, rejoice the lord, sing gospels, have tea and coffee after church and socialize with the other members and then go home? I should condemn that??
Or MR ABDULAH who visits the mosque each morning and prays to Allah for health and well being for his family? I should be condemning this too?

I criticize parts of religion, like Corruption and greed, and using religion as a tool in politics to starts wars etc... I believe that religion is not bad! its greedy politicians with an agenda who use religion as a tool!

Atheism has nothing to Offer humankind! So I will be critical of it...

My point was you can't say "I don't know" and claim you are correct. I accused you once before of being the student who writes "I don't know" on his math test and rails against the teacher that it's technically true and he should get some kind of grade.

I think the truth is that we all know that there is a Supreme God that we are all eternally related to (as subordinates.)

The problem is that we've forgotton it. Some of us are trying to remember - inspired by/taking help from liberated souls who have never forgotten God - while others - fully caught up in the material illusion - don't want to be reminded, preferring to think that God doesn't exist.

If god exists he will strike itaewonguy down.
If we hear from itwg again we have proven that god does not exist, thus winning that arguement.
If we never hear from itwg again it will be a blessing.
Pretty much a win win situation!

Nothing about the content of a religion eh. All that "kill the so-and-so", "slavery = good" etc etc. Just politicians who misuse religion for greed.

Lame-o.

no no no.. It's different..
A math question has an Answer- 1 + 1 = 2

its not 1+1maybe = 3
or 1 +1 maybe = 4

my question can not be correctly answered.
so the only answer for mankind = I Don't Know

Is there a god?
Athiest- NO
diest - YES

ME- I don't know...

which answer do you think is correct?

The pure spiritual essence of all real religion is priceless (hopefully I haven't violated MasterCard's copyright...)

The negative content comes from stuff manufactured by impure men with sectarian interests, from misleading translations/interpretations of scriptures, and from too much involvement in mundane politics.

Once the nonessential stuff is done away with and sincere religious leaders become exemplary in following the path chalked out by previous holy men and saints, then the stage will be set for more progressive spiritual development.

Semantics...

What is the square root of 537'135?

I don't know. A calculator or computer can tell me to a high degree of accuracy.

Should I trust my calculator or relegate it to the realm of god?

Merry non-denominational, super-natural free holiday.
