How come Korean Doctors don't like giving injections but rather prescribe tonnes of stupid pills? My doctor says its to painful, I said to him that I came to him 4 times with a broken nose I can take a little pain.

Is it the money issue?

Don't know what you're talking about, I get stabbed in the ass every time I go to the doctor. Stubbed your toe? That's a stabbin.

I know this -
Everybody in a K-ospital get at least one intramuscular injection and a litre of IV fluid EVERY day, no matter what they're there for.

Yeah I went in for a recheck and was stabbed too. Whenever I see the nurse she looks at me hungrily cause she gets to see part of my ass and she knows it. I've been to the local clinic 4 times since I've been here and got stabbed 4 times. One time wasn't even for me. I was taking my wife.

When you get an injection they are usually giving you antibiotics, the pills you get from the pharmacy here are not antibiotics but more like pills that we can buy over the counter at home.

I`ve been given amoxcilin from the pharmacist. That`s definitely an antibiotic.

Vitamin shots are often given in the butt.

"Doctor, I've got some issues."
"well, let's liten to your chest....now your lungs... ok. Someone will be around in a bit."
"Okay, I need to uhhh..."
"In the ass?"
"Heh heh.. umm.. nay. Muscle is best."
"Best? Can't you just hang a banana bag?"
"Banana?"
"Yeah, can't you just ..."
"No, this will need.. go here."
"In the ass?"
"Yes."
"Aiiiishblabberjinjja." <pull down pants>
<Shot in the ass.> "That's it."
"That's it?! You just put a needle in my ass!"
"Sorry."
"It's okay. What is it?"
"Bee-ta-meen"

I find if I come in feeling under the weather 2 things happen:

1. I get an ass shot and the next day I feel a LOT better.

2. I just get a prescription and I feel miserable for a few more days.

Yes I've also noticed that I feel like crap when I actually take the medication the Dr. prescribes.

I always thought they go a bit mad with the meds here. I got hooked up on a drip once for a heavy cold/inflammation.
