Yeah, it's kind of an odd thing. The Grand National Party usually garners around 50% or more of the vote, yet on Dave's, hanchongryun, the Teacher's Union, and the left wing of Uri are the ones who get help up as representing Korean attitudes toward America. |

'Voting' is an American thing. Not a Korean thing. True Koreans don't vote. GNP has 50% of traitors. |

I have never heard of nor seen a pro-American rally in Korea.

Mind giving more details where a public rally in support of the USA and the UN's defense of South Korea will be held.

Expect to see them during the times of anti-American protests. They are quite common at those times. Just watch the newspapers for times and places.
As OTOH said, the general impression given here at Dave's is quite different from the reality. Just last week at an End of the Year party with the top American military brass, a retired 4-star general (Korean) asked the Americans if they thought the end of the Combined Forces Command will be a good thing. They gave the official response and then listened closely while the Korean 4-star general told them he thought the Roh Moo-Hyun administration was irresponsible for asking for it and Rumsfeld/Bush were irresponsibly impulsive for agreeing to it. |
