Hi folks,

What is the best online instant messenger? I have tried using MSN but it keeps using an email account i shut down and says my new address is already in use. Therefore i am saying, "FuckMSN, you can shove your messenger up your sphinct."

I need a messenger that is free and i can use video with.

Thanks.

The best messenger is the one your friends use.

Agreed.

I just use Yahoo Messenger.

I dislike MSN...but it seems like an even split between MSN users and Yahoo users. I don't know anyone who uses any other kind.

I believe Trillian and Pidgin are compatible with most IM clients.

Skype.

Far better audio and video quality than the others. And you can add others to your conversations.

a lot of companies try to block messenger programs these days ... however, if you login to yahoo mail, you can run the messenger online.

nifty!

yahoo and msn also have compatibility ... so you can chat to hotmail friends too.

i use it from work, because all messenger clients (including pidgin and trillion) are blocked.

I rock pidgin for IMing people across the board. Skype for int'l calls and the occasional person who doesn't seem to have any other kind of IM client.

+ For International calls, I highly Recommend "Skype"
+ For Multi/Instant Messengers, I use "Pidgin" Reason I use Pidgin is pretty much has every multimessenger & also you can download the Nate-on Plugin. "Trillian" is also not bad.

+For Korean Friends, I use "Nateon".
+ For Business/school, I use "Cool Messenger"
