im askin cause im thinkin about buying a motorcycle to get around and take some road trips with...
but im wondering how difficult it would be to get around without being able to read korean? I can speak a good bit of it
do they make gps units with the english language as an option?
i know most of the road signs are in korean and english...still curious though. |

Driving around? Easy, easy easy. I have never had a problem making my way to a different city or dong in Seoul. Have a look around. Road signs are everywhere and are also in English. But if you are looking for a specific place, then having a GPS is definitely a help. Street names don't really exist here. People navigate more like, "Go to the Pungduckcheon EMart, turn right and pass the school. The shop is beside the GS25." So, if you dont know where these places are, it can be difficult with no GPS. |

Ever seen all those GIs driving around? How much Korean do you think they know? Pretty easy as long as you know where you're going I figure. If you don't even Koreans get confused. |
