If you have just turned 40, is it easy to pick up a 20-something K-girl or only a 30somat? I know it sounds funny but what I mean is do the korean girls go for older men in suits or only "lads" like back home |

Traditionally, Korean people make intimate relationships with other people in the same age bracket as themselves. This includes same sex friends.
Korean people in general dress tidily so if you dress smartly you'll increase your desirability.
If you are 40 then your chances of finding a 20 something to date are stacked against you.
There is a marked difference between the dating scene in places like Thailand and Korea. |

To give you some hope, I have seem out of age bracket dating, I myself dating a girl with a fairly large age gap, (but not as large as yours).
You should have high expectations of becoming a sugar daddy. If you're thinking about dating 20 somethings, and you are a weigook, who can't speak the language (sounds like you're new here), we ultimately all become English teaching machines, sex toys, or ATMs.
Most of the time I'm the first and the second and I have yet to become an ATM because I'm not older and I set the expectation that I can't pay for most things. But if you are 40, you have no excuse to tell off Korean girls that you can't pay for their fake prada bags.
But man, I imagine you'll have a hard time though. I do know of one foreign guy in his 40s who married a 30 year old korean woman. But they were dating for like 4 years and he didn't get that much action until marrige. If you're willing to ride it out that long you should be ok. But if you're looking for causual play, you better hang out with brad pitt foreigners to hook you up. |

Wow, that really wasn't the answers I was expecting... I honestly thought that you were going to say the women would be all over me in the bars and shopping malls. Plus, the company I have been offered a job from doesnt even pay for accommodation except 100,000w.
Wow...I thought it was going to be an easy pick up for say a 25yo hottie....Im 40, but still look youthful, I could get away with saying I am 38 say. Hmmm......Dam |

you know one 40yo guy who married a 30yoKorean woman
Yes...but that is EASY for any 40yo man in England or anywhere to find a 30yo woman...So I was thinking a 30yo Korean woman would be even easier to get, in fact so easy that I could go down to maybe 28yo where it would be a little harder...
Man, I think I have got the country all wrong in my head........ |

There's also the weather to consider. Dressing up in a smart suit clothes is fine for maybe half the year. For about five months of the year the weather is humid so that you can be sweaty within just a few minutes after getting out of the shower.
T-shirts and shorts aren't that attractive unless you've got the physique and Korean males are generally slimmer than Western men. |

Absolutely not. I know some 60 year olds I'd be happy to hook the op up with. |

yes.
Korea is not Taiwan, China, Japan, or Thailand, where a 40 year old guy such as yourself could easily score a 20-something hot girl. Sorry to disappoint. Save your money, meet some Chinese girls online, use your money to go see them on long weekends, save some more money, move to where she lives, marry her, help her escape from her country, take her back to your country, then she will divorce you, take 1/2 of your assets, and find a guy her own age in your country to marry.
much better plan, stan. |

Escape from her country, haha.
Yeah I thought Korea was harder for meeting women as I got up in the 30s. You can still meet some in their 30s who are fine, but I reckon quite a few in their 20s will be hesitant about more than a decade in age difference, though there seem to be more than just a few Korean guys over 40 or even over 50 taking 20-something girls to those love motels, or did I just imagine seeing that a lot? |

Taking to love motels is a far cry from wanting something more serious.
Seeing how significant the number 30 is to most Korean women, you will have difficulty in finding a woman in their 30s not married (although it's getting more and more common). And those in their 20s look for marriage material, not flings. |

Not to me, but to Korean girls it factors in some. IIRC, their top three concerns according to a poll/study I saw not too long ago went (1) Money, (2) Job, (3) Age of partner |

Well ye to me at 40, and single, I STILL wouldnt want a woman my age, because a) she is gonna have had her kids already, b) would be risky to try for kids at that age, c).....I dont fancy women 40+ usually. 30s is fine though, mid to late 20s BEST |
