I feel lucky I wasn't born with an American/Canadian passport. |
Do people with American/Canadian passports really gloat? I always thought it was more to my disadvantage to have an American passport.
I've been given the 'woe-is-me' I don't have one spiel from time-to-time from people who perceive themselves as being from a more disadvantaged position.. but from the 'developed' world, they seem to think an American passport is a major disability.
At least if you have South African, you can live/work in Australia/UK/probably Canada, on and on and wherever else.. plus even teach English in Asia.
If you have Australian.. you can live/work in the UK.. now you can even work in the US as they opened it up to them as part of the 'war on terrorism' partnership.. plus the teach in Asia thing.
If you have a British passport you can work/live in also Australia/Canada.. and have access to the entire European Union as well.. plus work in Hong Kong a hell of a lot easier as well as the rest of Asia.
If you have an American passport.. you can.. uhmm.. teach english in Asia along with all the other english-speaking passport holders.. congrats. Thats about it. |

I agree.
The Russians can do whatever they want in Russia. Preserving culture is terribly important, as loss of it creates wastepools and leather brains. No citation needed. If they feel preserving genetics will maintain Russia's identity then more power to them. Why is this an issue? |

me neither. women follow money, and there ain't much within a 1000 mile radius of Noginsk. USA! USA!! beats in the heart of every nikita with a pulse. They even have coach tours for the dweebs of america to go there and marry them in droves, after exchangeing a few pleasantries.
The same operators run counselling businesses to console the poor guys after little kareninina has divorced them, once she has her green card.

Are American men rushing to marry Siff Afrehcans? Rhodesians? |
WTF? Why would you write 'Siff Afrehcans' and 'Rhodesia' (which isn't even the name of the fcking country anymore). |

Becuase it's retarded....not to mention the whole "russian" bride thing has taken a huge drop....russia is in alot better shape than during the collapse so far less women are willing to jump ship with the first geeky engineer who walks into town. These days, it's all about the former russia satellite states that are filled with desperate women.
This is less preserving culture and more about pleasing a uneduated dumbasses....perhaps they're support a minority purge under the guise of "preserving culture". |

When we were married, this was the situation in Korea at least for foreign males marrying Korean women. There was no F-2 visa for foreign males. You were expected to take your wife back to your country. |

That doesn't matter, as genetics are one part of what makes a people distinct.
If you think it's valuable, it has value, whether or not there is any scientific bearing on the matter.

I believe you are correct.
Still, I think this is a relatively correct stance to take for this reason: Multiculturalism supplants values with the most common denominator. To get people to realize that we are choking the planet we need some value outside buy buy buy, and historically culture has provided these in the form of religion, nationalism and art. |

| I saw recently on a website showing gender distribution that Russia has under 90 males per 100 females, all ages that is. Still, if that is true, a reasonable assumption would be that quite a few Russian women are going to marry foreign men for a long time to come. |
