I see.
X is the 24th letter in the alphabet.
I assume that's a play on Christianity.
So, they are the second coming of that particular religion.
12 * 2 = 24, where 12 is the maximum number of disciples allowed.
OMG
IT'S TROOF

SOMEBODY BETTER GO FIND JESUS AND TELL HIM TO BRING HIS SELF DEFENSE CHAIN TO THE NORAEBANG

Maybe because there are a lot of kids who go to these things and they don't want drunken ajoshi mingling with 13 year olds?

That's a logical answer. Perhaps it's true as well. Thank you.

Alcohol isn't illegal in noraebangs.

There are some noraebangs that have no alcohol policies. Others have policies where you can order beer but not soju. Other places have soju and then you have the high end karaoke places where you can order whiskey, cognac, champagne or whatever you want.

But the regulation isn't actually complied with. Every singing room I've gone to (twice a month) serves beer under the table in plastic cups. In most cases the owner or employee enters the room and pours a can of Cass for you. But the beer tastes foul wrapped in plastic. I'm amazed that Korean beer companies actually sell beer in plastic bottles. Yuck!

Probably depends on what kind of license they have. There's probably a few steps to go through between innocent noraebang and full-on room salon.

You're going to the wrong kind or noraebangs.
