Anyone know if SkyLife has (Asian) ESPN?
Not MBC ESPN, but the proper ESPN that has so many English Premiership matches.... |

SkyLife is as reliable as any other satellite service, such as DirecTV. There are a ton of channels, of course, limited as to English content. Yes, the Asian ESPN is there, as well as a good deal of other sports programming.
However, keep in mind that AFN is NOT available with SkyLife should you choose to watch your routine US shows ....
I myself keep up with my 7 or so favorite shows via BitTorrent .... |

Me and my wife recently looked into it. My mate here got the whole set-up for about 100,000 won and a pretty cheap monthly rate. But, when we called they said it would cost us 400 and something thousand to set it up and 18 a month. It has heaps of channels and you can catch a lot of the big matches on the sports channels. I would love to get it, but for that money it sounded rediculous. |

It cost me 60,000 won to set up. I think this is a standard price. But I've heard that this month (Jan), you can get it installed for free and three months free too.... |

This was discussed in another topic, in which I wrote:
I have Skylife and do not miss AFKN at all. As for Starworld, never saw it so wouldn't care one way, or the other.
The reason I got Skylife was because I love movies and I get tons of movie channels, including Catch On and Catch On Plus; I pay KW 23k and change a month, plus the PPV movies I may watch, which range in price from KW 1000 to KW 1500.
What is cool about having it is that you can program it to your favorite shows so that no matter what you my be watching, the channel will change at the time that the show starts.
Another thing is the radio stations, of which you get about 20, or 30.
For more information call 02 2003 3074 and don't worry, thy speak English. |
