I don't feel I have betrayed my own race!
also I don't prefer a different ethnicity or cultural identity to my own.
I just respect and admire others, but am very proud of my own.
but yes I LOVE foreign cultures and always dated ethnic girls, and hung out with ethnic people, and of course married one..
but a traitor??? NO..
I think a race lover is a better word |

Exactly. That's why I don't take any offence when someone calls me a race traitor. It's not a real offence, so not a real insult. Unlike crazy_arcade I do believe in race, and it's a good thing when it's not used to divide people.
And for the record, I got the online screen name from a skinhead, and he was joking about it. |
Please elaborate on how race is a good thing? |

Good point...you'd have to first have some kind of loyalty or allegiance to your race is some kind of organized fashion before you could betray it. |

Good point...you'd have to first have some kind of loyalty or allegiance to your race is some kind of organized fashion before you could betray it. |
I wouldn't say so. It's not like there are any race traitors out there who woke up one day and said, "I know, I'll sell all the secrets to my race to another race!" Race traitor is a subjective term, and usually one is judged to be a race traitor by others, rather than deciding for themselves. |

Yeah, if it's common seems I haven't read the stuff where it's used, or met the people who use it. Maybe I have heard it but don't recall. Maybe some movie about nazis or something. "You are a traitor to your race" sounds like something some fool could say.
Maybe I've led a sheltered life.

Foreign music, foreign food. These things have not to do with race. Different culture, different state...not different race.
Maybe nationtraitor or culture traitor would be a better name?
Different culture and different race are very different things. When we find life on another planet then we may talk about the possibility of being a racetraitor.
And, the name "racetraitor" is racist in it-self. A traitor is someone who has betrayed his/her own kind and joined allegience with the "enemy," which in this context would be someone of a different "race." Of course, my original argument still stands, there is no such thing as different races and thus, it's impossible to be a racetraitor. |
