I just got a new passport and I will be going on vacation out of Korea next week. Obviously my E-2 and multiple entry visa are in my old passport. I assume I need to go to immigration and have something noted in my new passport, but Im wondering if anyone can tell me if/how much I will have to pay and how much of a hassle it will be.

I took both my old and new passports to immigration, and they put a new sticker in the new passport. What nationality are you ? I'm a US citizen, and when I re-newed my passport they gave me my old passport back. |

It is a very simple process. I did it last year. As I am Canadian, I am not given a re-entry permit, so I had to pay for another one. Not sure if Americans get their re-entry moved for free. They can do it on the spot, you don't need to leave anything or make multiple visits. |
