Richard Cheese -
If you're not familiar with him, he turns various hits over the years into the ever so popular 'Lounge Music' Wink
(the live on stage versions i could find were really bad quality, so posted this link of their recordings)
#1 Down With The Sickness: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nhaQlFLXK4c&feature=related

#2 SlipKnot - People = Shit
Original - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=91kb7HYhoSc (watch this original first if you're not familiar with it already - just to fully appreciate the Lounge version).

#3 Ice Ice Baby

dara o' briain is one of the best irish comdians around at the minute.

I also went to see sean kent a few weeks ago, i had never heard of him (it was just a stand up night that is always held near us and you never know who is going to appear) but he was funny as hell, i youtubed him and found some of his earlier stuff which wasn't nearly as funny as his new stuff cos his humour has totally changed.

also ricky gervais, especially his stuff when he was on the 11 o'clock show.

The Wikipedia article on stand-up comedians makes at least one notable omission: "Larry the Cable Guy" (aka Daniel Lawrence Whitney) who co-starred on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour along with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White.

He does have his own Wiki page, though:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_the_Cable_Guy

Here's the whole Blue Collar gang stating their lofty beliefs (after discussing diarrhea in a public restroom...)

More tasteful stand-up:

His tours were pretty funny, but some of his stuff at the start when he first became famous was quite annoying, billy bites yer bum etc I found to be too much about is fame and wasn't that funny, I thought the same of ricky Gervais with his show 'fame' but it was still much funnier than billy's earlier stuff.

I would still love to see him in concert though
