I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good online TEFL course. I'm in school full time and I work full time, so I can only do the course online. I'm still wanting to get the most out of the course so I'm hoping someone can recommend a decent online course. I've been looking into the I-to-I course offered, as well as the one offered by The Global TESOl college but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Do the ITTT 100 hr online TEFL/TESOL course with tutor support. It took me just under 3 months to complete. I got a Grade B. Laughing

You get 6 months to complete it. I have been working at a public school for 18 months. It's with GEPIK.

My first contract paid 2.0 million won a month. The current contract is paying me 2.1 million won a month.

After this contract, I'll have 2 years experience and my recently-acquired TESOL certificate.

Because of the TESOL certificate, my next contract will pay me 2.3 million won a month. An increase of 200,000 won every month.

The course costs about 300 dollars, so it pays for itself, and once you have it, it's there for life!

All the best.

If you are doing something online -- why pay?

I'll be promoting THIS course extensively in the New Year. I have reviewed it and find that though it is on the academic side, if you are just going to do something online, this is more beneficial. No fuss, no muss. Get your training at workshops face to face to compliment.

Thanks fromtheuk, I went and checked out the ITTT a bit more and I signed up. I like the idea of having my own private tutor, he's already emailed me, it feels more like a classroom this way. Thanks.

Good for you! The good thing about the tutor option is you can't fail. If you get something wrong they point out what they are looking for, I suppose it's best to ask questions if you're not sure.

It's worth it just for the increase in pay. Laughing

I wanted to do CELTA but registration was back in October for the February course.

So is this ITTT worth a damn? I don't just want a certificate, i want something that'll help me become a more effective teacher.

They say you really need the in-person TEFL to really get the most out of it, because they can critique you as you are giving sample classes.

That said, I imagine you can find something in there to help you. Put a lot of effort into the online course and it should be helpful.

Hmm, I didn't work for me either. I've applied for the ITTT course, but haven't paid to start it yet. I would be nice to check out your link dd.
