Can't tell if you are sarcastic or just really don't know.
But..in Spain/France in particular...while the Spanish/French drink with meals and just socialize in a...well, normal relaxed way. You have tons of Brits on holiday getting shit-faced drunk...etc. on and on. |

people on holiday...are by default de-stressing. One doesn't expect good behavior. For example if I wanted to see a cultured brit I'd hit up the reading room at the British Museum, not a spainish pub at 1:00 AM in Costa Del la Sol.

| It's a ridiculous law enacted and enforced by religious fanatics, but consenting adults in the USA sometimes get arrested for doing sexual things in private because of religious fanatics. |

Everybody knows British people are trouble abroad. My friend recently went to Turkey, and told of how a gang of guys were talking about the 'dirty Turks' and singing songs about Turkey on the plane to TURKEY.
This story doesnt actually sound that bad, unlucky to get caught but everyones had sex on the beach. |

Isnt London going to be renamed Islamabad II ? From what my sources are telling me, this is true. Not that there is anything wrong with that, because i dont care if minorities congregate in large numbers to the cities.... the more the merrier .. but ive heard that white londoners are getting fed up with immigrants in especially london |

Anyone arrested in the U.S. for a private sexual act since Lawrence v. Texas, in 2003, would have firm standing to fight it. Unless you have specific examples of arrests since then, your argument holds no water. Sexual acts in pulbic, in the U.S., remain illegal, as they should. (Which is not to say I've never had sex in a public space, but that had I been arrested for it, I wouldn't be whining about it.)
Being arrested for sex in public is a fair cop, and the penalty for these two doesn't seem draconian, especially by Mideast standards. (Had it been two men or two women, of course, they'd have likely been beheaded the day after they were arrested, but that's a different issue.) |
