Man Rams Car Into Factory for Impurities in Noodle

By Park Si-soo
Staff Reporter

A man in his mid-30s was caught crashing his car into a noodle factory and breaking down the front gate.

Busan Sasang Police Station said Wednesday it apprehended the driver, identified as Kim, on charges of destroying factory property.

According to police, Kim arrived at the factory's front gate at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday and asked the factory's janitor to call the firm's product quality manger. When the request was denied, he rammed his car into the front gate of the plant. During questioning, he said his four-year-old daughter fell sick after eating impurities found in instance noodles produced at the factory.

``This wouldn't have happened if the firm's manager had apologized,'' he said, asking police and the Korea Food and Drug Administration to investigate the alleged contamination.

There's something funny in my noodles, well dammit, I'll just crash my car through the gate of the factory. Maybe that wasn't a good idea.

Well to be fair it was because of his 4 year old girl...

Can't say any father is a resonable, when his daughter gets sick.

That title is comedy gold.

I wonder if that was the author's intent.

And stop printing plagiarized articles, too. I'm pretty sure the student newspaper at some high school in Boise could run tighter editorial control than the KT.

And not once does the Korean newspaper DARE mention the company this happened at. Gosh forbid, their sales are far more important than outing them as selling dirty noodles for kids to eat. Rolling Eyes

Lots of companies around the world produce harmful products that hurt and kill people. When their products hurt and kill people the company names are often left out of news reports. I agree that its crazy but this is not unique to Korea.

In addition, it can be slander if the allegations are to be found false.

If for any reason that a case a man brings a false accusation against a company, and the company's name is made public, it's irreprable damage against their company brand.

So it's pretty dangerous for newspaper to make those things public.
They could have a lawsuit built against them for slander.

Damn right. The government recently has been cracking down on media companies and individuals who write and report false stories.

There has been lots of unemployed reporters demonstrating recently.
