I quit my public school at around September, and another foreign teacher replaced me.
Out of the blue, a few weeks ago, the replacement teacher found me through Facebook to talk about the problems she was facing. She pretty much ran into the same issues: a crazy co-teacher, who let her classes be run like a zoo.
And she's thinking of quitting, too.
I'M VINDICATED!!!!!!!
Lord knows, I feel sorry that the replacement teacher is going through the same problems, and I think it absolutely sucks that she's quitting. At the same time, though, I can't help but feel relieved that my choice was at the very least validated by another (since I've had second thoughts about my resignation).
Anyone else run into similar situations like this? |

Good for you. I'm interested in what were the issues you both had with the school, in a bit more detail.
I never quit, because my co-teacher will hopefully change again in March.
I'm still here.
I suppose my rants and many others on this forum show we are all vindicated in our complaints about co-teachers. |

I, for one, am amazed - the only foreigner in K-land that's caused co-teachers to pull 'midnight runs'. |
