Hello I am planning on coming to Korea in a month or two and have sent my info on to some recruiters. I have read that alot of these guys are just out to rob would be teachers. Is this true or just another horror story. Has anyone ever used ATC? Thanks!

One of the most professional agencies I have used and I recruited 4 staff through them is Ben and Jeff at Footprints Recruiting. Great guys who stand by their clients and their client schools.

Confirm the recruiter you are using is licenced. If they aren't, push off and get someone else. A licenced recruiter can represent you at Immigration should things turn ugly and you need to change schools so you aren't trying to do it yourself, and a licenced recruiter can't screw you over as you can complain to the government about it.

Regardless, take your time in signing a contract and look at as many as possible. Also make sure that the contract you fax your recruiter is the same as the one you sign with your employer. I know a guy who recently signed on at a wonderland and thought the contract he signed was the same as the original. He found out that the ten days paid vacation was no where to be found in his new contract.
The recruiter has no way of knowing this.
Try Pagoda and ask for Bobby. She's a nice girl and seems to have a real concern.
