I have an 80gig hooked up to my PC. ITunes loaded up and all. I gave the misses a 8 gig for xmas. How do i hook hers up to the computer so that she can have her ITunes box and I can have mine?
Thanks,

just create a separate playlist with all the songs that you want to sync to her ipod. then connect her ipod and choose to only sync that playlist. it should work. i have multiple ipods syncing to my computer... |

I never use the syncing function, always manual control. Just makes things simpler imo. |

Buy a 64-bit copy of Windows Vista and install it. This is the only way it can be done. |

I agree here. If you have 80 gigs its fine to just sync. But for an 8 gig player it's easier to just pick and choose your favorite music and change it from time to time.
Just unclick the sync function.
Syncing it to playlist is a good idea and alternative as well. |

Itunes says to create two user profiles and make sure you restrict your Ipod to your profile and her machine to her profile, and you'll be okay. |
