I've always been very attracted to black women, and dated, been involved with, got in relationships with...most particularly when I was living in Brazil and especially when I was living in New York City - a lot of gorgeous intelligent black women in that city! I'm a blue/blond/white guy.
As for Korea, there just aren't many black women around. The largest black/white mix you'll see is around the U.S. military base with the soldiers who date fairly indiscriminately.
As for ESL teachers (the few and far between black women that I've seen), I've certainly noticed and been attracted to, but they always seem to be tied in tightly with their immediate ESL co-workers and already dating or involved with someone. I guess the answer is that ESL teachers certainly get involved with black women as well.
If I wasn't already involved with someone, I'd certainly be using my PM button right now to both the OP and Darashii as well!  |

Since I posted in page 1 of this thread I've actually dated (well, slept with) a black woman. She was my first! After a few weeks of writing music together, hanging out together, and buying puppies together, she turned out to be a total headcase though, and I kicked her out of bed after the fifth straight needless accusatory argument. (but not for cookies, I'd never kick her outta bed for eatin cookies)
For the record, I don't blame her race for her being a total headcase, I blame western culture. Its back to the Korean wimmins for me. HA!
ACTUALLY, her problem was that she was too jealous of Korean women and constantly grilled me about my past relationships with them, and kept accusing me of such things as going out to Hongdae and getting a new chick every weekend. AS IF! I tried to remind her of the awkward and uncool manner in which I managed to pick her up but she would have none of it. So, take this as advice guys, if you ever date a western girl here in Korea you should never, ever mention that you dated a Korean girl before them. |

Don't admit to any prior relationships at all. Women hate being reminded that they didn't get there first.
