|
|
I've tried two different common mouthwashes here (denta gargle, and a blue one with a cute little bubble dude on it), and i might as well be rinsing with water. I need the mouth-burning pain of listerine. Has anyone found listerine here, or knows of a good wash? |

I'm interested to hear the answer too as I love mouthwash...I've gotten an immature pleasure getting looks by drinking blue gatorade from one of those bottles before though. |

Here are the 3 easy steps to getting listerine in Korea:
1- Go to Itaewon
2- Pick up a GI
3- Get him to buy u some

I use listerine everyday - I know what you mean about Korean mouthwash - it seems to be watered down and doesn't solve bad/tobacco breath etc - or feel like its killing the plaque.
To purchase green or yellow Listerine in the one liter size - go to Hoehyeon Station on Line 4 (blue line no.425) and you will find yourself outside the Namdaemun markets. Once there you will find the Dong-dae-moon Underground Market, Building C. Its a large type of building at the gates of the markets - go in and downstairs and your will find lots of listerine and other imported items from the USA etc - In fact you will find many international and USA products. Its a little expensive - 7,000 won for a one liter bottle - however when you compare this with the korean (watered-down) mouthwash at 4,000+ won for 700 milliliters - I think the price is fair.
Don't forget to bargain down the price.... |

I'm not trying to educate you or anyone but I know that I have bad breath, or did. Everytime I brush my teeth I also brush my tongue has far back as I can until I gag, roof of my mouth, between my lips and gums, well, you get the picture. I also let the students know the same thing as many DON'T brush correctly or floss. I see students everyday in and out of the bathroom brushing their teeth many times a day only to still stink because they are not brushing correctly. Bad breath is not from teeth. I brush a few times a with peroxide and mint. Let me tell you, that really cleans the mouth! |

Peroxide is sold in pharmacies. Hospitals use it all the time. You could go to one and ask a nurse/doctor for some. Mint? I got some at the Raddison Hotel in seoul. The ground floor speciality food store and at the military base. |

I used some Korean stuff that was pretty decent. But it was like SCOPE. IMO Listerine sucks arse. If I wanted something that was going to burn my mouth I'd mouth wash with urine. |

Not to be facetious, but urine is pretty clean when you think about it. It goes through your kidneys and becomes sterilized. In the early years of the space program, the astronauts were drinking sterilized urine mixed with Tang! That's a fact. Would I drink it? Gargle with it? Hell no! |
