| (And as far as her relationship with the vampire...that is just creepy. Aside from what the_beaver already mentioned, the other just outright perverted part of their relationship is that the dude is like 80 years old. I really don't care for that message at all.) |
What message? The guy's a teenager (as far as the story line goes), a teenager by vampire standards. |
I disagree. He *looks* like a teenager, but that doesn't make him a teenager. I really don't care if he's young "by vampire standards." He's still old enough to be her grandfather. |
1. You're equating fiction to reality; big mistake. 2. As far as the story's concerned, he's a teenager and she's a teenager. 3. I mean, if you're going to be so concerned about age difference, why aren't you concerned about the interspecies aspect? |
1. Equating fiction to reality? WTF are you even talking about? We're discussing vampires here. Who the F thinks vampires are real? It's not me.
2. No, the story has the guy appearing to be a teenager, which is a distinction that doesn't appear to bother you. I mean, basically, he has an 80 year old man's brain in a 17 year old kids body. And he's a stalker. (Here is me beating the horse into bloody pulp: The story, in essence, is a romance between a very old, albeit young-looking, man and an underage girl. That kind of thing can happen in real life, you nitwit, which is exactly why I don't care for the message it sends.)
3. You show me some old-ass vampires going after jail-bait in real life and I'll hop up on a soapbox. |
