I am now the proud owner of enough toilet paper to see me through the apocalypse.

All I wanted was a 6 pack but I had to get the "Super Jumbo End of the World" pack.....or I could have purchased a single roll of "I Just Can't Afford Toilet Paper Mini Single" with wood slivers.

One of those things I just don't get. I live in a moldy shoe box with no closets of any kind and the only TP I can get is about the size of a small beer fridge...yet I can buy beer in singles, soju in juice boxes and Coke in mini cans (all of which I love).

To make matters worse, it was 2 for 1 day today....I couldn't pass it up. Where the hell do I keep this stuff for the next year?

I should have bought 4, I could have used them as a sofa or lined my walls with them for insulation.

I also have somewhere around 60 rolls of toilet paper in my house. I couldn't find anything other than the Waco seige extended family pack then the next day I bought some stuff at the store which qualified me for a free gift which was another cubic yard of toilet paper.

I think I understand why asswipe is such a popular house warming gift here.

LOL I took advantage of this deal early in both of years as it's the, "get a deal on 1 years supply of TP." Yes, most other things seem to come in small quantity, have more limited variety, and higher priced than what you might consider fair market value. Korean consumerism and shopping are largely illogical to me, but that's only my view, just a foreign perspective on what works for them.

Hide the goods under the bed if you lack extra space.

TP has so many more uses in Korea:

1. Table napkin
2. Clean-up after sex
3. Floor cleaner
4. Wad it up and squash roaches

The list goes on and on...

TP is great here...one single product to solve all life's wiping

I never understood why I needed kleenex back home when TP is pretty much the same thing.

But I draw the line at hand drying....bloody hate that, just tears apart in my hand. But then in Korea I'm just happy that they thought to provide something to dry my hands with in public toilets, let alone provide me with something to wipe my butt. I hate that one communal towel that looks like it has survived judgement day.

When I arrived there was one of the big packs left my the previous tenant. That lasted 6 months, and so I bought another one to last the remaining six months. I prefer one single trip. I always hate buying toilet roll because I imagine the cashiers are only thinking about what you're going to do as soon as you get home.

With most TP here being scented, you can use it as air freshner! Stack some in your bathroom cabinet and be greeted each morning and night with a burst of Korean freshness... Hang some on your drying rack to give your clothes that lovely hint of wildflower... Store some in your fridge to cover up that smell of left over Kimchi... The list goes on and on!

The weird thing buying those uber-multi-roll tp packages is, if you don't have a car, you got a lug it all the way home.

Kids stare out you like "Wow, wayguk saram, you really gotta take a s***!"

If someone works as a cashier and every time a customer buys toilet paper they think about that customer backing one out, or possibly something else, then it's they who should look askance at themselves in the mirror, not you, sir.

But have you considered the opposite? What if you regularly go to a supermarket but never buy TP, and they notice it? You surely don't want them to think you're just using the shower nozzle - you know, like they do in Britain.

You used 48 rolls of TP in 6 months? That's like a roll every 2-3 days. I, for one, am impressed.
