George Bush is clearly the stupidest president that idiot Americans have ever elected. All those who voted for him the first time should be ashamed; all those who voted for him a second time are war criminals and should be hanged, just like Georgie did to Saddam Hussein.
Hussein murdered 10's of thousands of Kurds with WMD's given to him by the good ol' US of A. George has slaughtered upwards of 1,000,000 innocent women and children in Iraq. You tell me who the mass murderer is? |

hahahahahahahaha post of the year.
Oh wait, all of these are horribly stale and haven't been funny for like 5 years.
Well, some of them are more recent, but the idea of Bushisms hasn't been funny in a long time. |

It would be interesting to compare Bushisms to Quaylisms and see that the two had shown their true colors before either took public office. I was going to ask for a comparison but found an impartial list here http://www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Dan_Quayle/:
I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican.
I have made good judgements in the Past. I have made good judgements in the Future.
People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have a tremendous impact on history.
Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.
The American people would not want to know of any misquotes that may or may not make.
The future will be better tomorrow.
We don't want to go back to tomorrow, we want to go forward.
We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe.
We're all capable of mistakes, but I do not care to enlighten you on the mistakes we may or may not have made.
Welcome to President Bush, Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts.
What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.
When I have been asked during these last weeks who caused the riots and the killing in L.A., my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame.
[It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system.
Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things.

One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is 'to be prepared'.
, 12/6/89
Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it.
, 5/20/92 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)
I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change.
, 5/22/89
Mars is essentially in the same orbit... Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe.

Murphy Brown is doing better than I am. At least she knows she still has a job next year.
, 8/18/92
The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century.
, 9/15/88
Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children.
, 9/18/90
We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world.
, 9/21/88
We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur.

For NASA, space is still a high priority.

Public speaking is very easy.

I stand by all the misstatements that I've made.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that yahoo!news has a better handle on what the general public wants to read than you do. Oh, and check the friggin date on the link...

These below be Yogisms. The intelligence level of the three extraordinary gentlemen are similar, but at least Yogi Berra was wise and he only finished the 8th grade!
* As a general comment on baseball: "Ninety percent of this game is half mental."
* On why he no longer went to a popular St. Louis restaurant: "Nobody goes there no more, it's too crowded!"
* "It ain't over till it's over." - After Berra's 1973 Mets trailed the Chicago Cubs by 9 games in the National League East; the Mets rallied to win the division title on the next-to-last day of the season.
* When giving directions to his New Jersey home, which was equally accessible via two different routes: "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
* On being the guest of honor at an awards banquet: "I'd like to thank all those who made this night necessary."
* "It's like dj vu all over again". Berra explained that this quote originated when he witnessed Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris repeatedly hit back to back home runs in the Yankees' seasons in the early 1960s.
* "You can observe a lot by just watching."
* "It's tough making predictions, especially about the future". This actually belongs to Storm P.
* "Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours."
* On a trip to Cooperstown, to attend a dinner, Phil Rizzuto commented to Yogi, "I think we're lost." To which Yogi responded "Yeah, but we're making great time."
* When told by a queen visiting New York on a particularly humid day that he appeared "quite cool," Yogi innocently responded "Thanks; you don't look so hot yourself."
* When asked if he wanted a personal pizza cut into 4 or 8 slices, Yogi responded with "Better cut it into 4, I don't think I could eat 8."
* "It's not the heat, it's the humility."
* "They could make trouble for us if they win" on the American League situation
* "The future ain't what it used to be."
* "We made too many wrong mistakes."
* "If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be."
* "I usually take a two hour nap from one to four."
* "Know anything? I don't even 'suspect' anything!"
* On the Yankees leaving Yankee Stadium for the final game: "I'm sad to see it go. I really do."
* When asked about his relationship with George Steinbrenner, he responded: "We agree different." |
