F2 is a spousal visa right?
I know F4's are for Korean nationals living or were born abroad.
From what I've seen they are automatically Multiple entry.
E2...you can also get multiple entry but you will have to make sure your employer checks the right box. Occasionally Employers put a check on the "Single Entry" or never check the box because of runners! (^_^) |

The F2 does not entitle you to a multiple entry permit, you must apply for it. The F5 does not require a re-entry permit since it is a permanent residency visa. F5 visa holders may come and go as they please through Korean customs. When you are issued your F2 you must request the multiple entry permit or else they will issue you a single entry permit. (I found this out the hard way when traveling on vacation one year) |

I'm married and I don't recall ever applying for any kind of re-entry permit whenever I came back to the country. |

You're supposed to apply for it before you leave...they stamp it in your passport. |

That's odd, I thought the F2 came with the same privileges as an F4, but that they were just given out for different reasons.
Anyway, I have an F4, and I never got a re-entry permit, and been told at the airport that I didn't need it. I would think it's the same for an F2, no? |

When I had my F2-1, I had to apply for a multiple (or single) re-entry stamp. I'm getting my F5 in a few weeks. Be careful when you apply for a single re-entry because one lady asked me when I'd be going and expired the single stamp shortly after the date I gave her. Plans change, you might have wasted your money. If they ever ask you when you're going, tell them you don't know but to leave it open for travel within a year. They'll do it. K-logic |
