Ok, this was left with me, it doesn't work, but I suspect someone who knows what they are doing might be able to fix it. Or if anyone has an idea of how much to cost to fix this?

There is a problem linked to the keys, seems to be linked to sticky keys? Anyway, half the keys don't work properly, for example you can't type . just >, most of the time it will only type in capitals, the exclamation mark and brackets don't work, etc.
The battery is dead so you need to use it with the power cord.
The USB ports seem to work fine
It will play CD's, I'm not sure about DVD's or recording onto disc.
Hard drive is 10gb

I will need to ship it to you so price will include shipping, make me an offer, I want it out of my way!!

I just don't understand. It doesn't work and you are trying to sell it?
10gb hard drive? wow. Amazing.

Even if you give out free, people will reject that.
I guess your best bet is to throw it away.

If someone knows what the problem is and it is a simple one to fix then they would get a super cheap laptop, I want it out of my way.

doesn't seem to be the keyboard that is the problem, more something to do with the operating as all keys work fine, it just changes it's mind about what it wants the keys to be saying.

You beat me there by giving a better offer than me. I was about to get that laptop if I get paid to receive it.

I can't imagine a VIAO with only 10G HD space.

Free doesn't seem a good price as I would lose out by paying for postage.

If I had the first idea how to do it I would install a new Operating system on it, my friend thinks that would solve it, but honestly I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to get someone to do it.
