Best place to buy one in Seoul? Or go for online store (suggestions, please).
Also, what is the deal with the games? I heard you would buy a card to go with it for extra and it has 40 games on it?
Are any of the accessories worth buying? |

Everything you need to know is on this thread:
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=139231
You want to go to the Nanjin Arcade near Yongsan station. You can get a DS for about 135,000 won there, or buy it with card (either an R4 or TT card) for about 180,000 in total. The guys usually load some games on there for you. Most of the sellers will throw in some extras for free. I got a crystal cover and some earphones. |

As far as games simply use .torrents to download, simply the best and easiest. In a torrent search site (eg. www.torrentz.com is my favorite, or mininova.org). A good poster for DS Rom's is ESPALNDS. I usually search for his as he releases all the current ones quickly.
Load the .nds files you download to the SDMicro card (supplied when you buy your NDS R4 or TT chip) and play. |

Cool..I'll check it out. Do they sell green ones?
What does R4 and TT stand for?
Also, if I buy it at Yongsan, how many games will the guys put on the cards? Do I get to pick the games?
I read on the other thread that I get get Game Boy games...After I download them from a torrent program, where do I save them to? |

They do sell green in Europe, but I haven't seen them in Korea.
When you get the R4 card in Yongsan, you'll have a few options with the memory that fit in the R4 - usually 2GB, 4GB, or more. They'll throw on as many games as will fit, but I don't really think you can sit there and request games.. the only choice you have is English games or Korean games. I'd recommend going with the R4 and the 4GB memory option. 4GB is more then enough for tons of games, and because I've read that anything above 4GB can be problematic.
If you don't want to bother with torrent sites, you can get all games for the NDS here, http://www.romulation.net/NDS/. Unzip them, and drag and drop the .nds file onto the memory card you received with the R4 card via the USB adapter. Then put the memory into the R4 and start playing - simple!
Also, you might want to update the R4 software that is also on the memory card in order to change the language to English (as the one you buy in Yongsan may be in Korean). Updating is easy - again, drag and drop 3 files. Go here to get the updated software (or kernels as they're called).
Wow.. this kid made a pretty easy to follow tutorial on youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIJY8EZVI48. Check that out - it's a little nauseating though. |

Do any of you know if you can purchase the DS Web browser in Yongsan? Or is there a downloadable version that I can use with my R4?
Also, why do all the R4s come with 2GB cards? Will they not work with a larger card (4gb or 8gb)? |

I wouldn't bother purchasing it. There's a homebrew called DSorganize that includes a very basic browser that has the same features as DS Web. "DSOrganize is meant as a homebrew organizer application for the Nintendo DS that should have come built in in the first place" It also includes a Calendar, Planner, Address book, Todo List, Scribble Pad, etc.
As for using more than 2GB with the R4s, make sure you get a R4HC (High Capacity) that will accept 4GB+. As an alternative, you could also get a TT card that accepts HC SD memory. |

My boyfriend went home to the US and bought me one, so I should be getting it when he returns. He got me two games, but they look like cartridges...I thought the games came on a card? So I'm guessing I still have to go to Yongsan and pick up a few cards and then download the ROMs on there...
So the console comes with a USB cable? |

I'm not too much of a techie, so will this homebrew program be hard for me to download and work with?
Also, Tommy..can you re-post that Youtube link or give me the name of the poster? The link doesn't seem to be working.... |
