My motorcycle, 5000 won..

Just took my car in for the first time. 28k. Is that right? It makes sense in terms of amount of oil but even in America where they charge for labor you can get them 13 bucks at Walmart.

There's a few grades of oil to choose from. My previous car was a bit of a banger so I asked them to put in the cheap oil. 10,000.

Maybe you got the good stuff.

My wife's gas car costs 25,000won for oil/filter/air filter.

My diesel costs 50,000 for oil/filter/air filter.

This is done at the dealership.

I just paid 25,000 for my cars oil change with filter and air filter... That's like $20 bucks US which is a pretty good buy based on what I used to pay in the states.

It seems that around 25,000 is pretty standard. That is what I usually pay as well.

But you also have to pay for disposing the oil and taxes. Usually the Walmart oil change comes out to closer to $18.

Count yourself lucky though. My daily driver takes 10 quarts of synthetic oil and the local dealer charges $200+ for an oil change. Shocked

Lexus with a V8. Trust me, I was pretty shocked when I first went to the dealership as well.

Edit:

Then I learned that I can reasonably expect 10,000 miles from each set of tires and a replacement set runs $1,500. Made the oil changes seem cheap in comparison. Pay to play I suppose.
