My friend's computer monitor is split down the center and has a mirror-image on the screen. Is this a motherboard, hardware or some other problem? He's using Windows XP Professional Edition. Thanks in advance.

That seems more like a feature than a hardware problem. Has he gone back over all his display settings?

Oh the other hand, I would like to know how to get my monitor to be split down the middle. I'm using XP.

I can't count the number of times I've thought about getting two monitors, and this would solve my problem.
