An outlet mall being where clothing brands sell off they're gear they didn't sell the last season at rock bottom prices....I used to live near one in the states.....loved that place.
I've only seen one in Yongsan, any others? |

Sorry, there are no outlet stores in Korea. Koreans aren't fond of shopping at such places |

Really, there are brand name outlet stores EVERYWHERE in Korea. Just ask a Korean coworker. Chances are there is a a whole road of them 5 minutes from where you live.
The downside is that every outlet store here has big signs that say 50-70% off in their windows, but in reality the prices are about DOUBLE the price for the same item in a normal mall/department store in the USA. IMO outlet shopping is a HUGE scam here, but Koreans haven't caught on. |

Agree. There are boxes on the sidewalk that are 70-50% off that look like they came from the Salvation Army. Then the stuff in the actual outlet store are more expensive (and fewer sizes) than you can find at Homeplus or E-mart. |

Technically, there's Yeoju Outlet Mall-not exactly Seoul, but close enough-- not very big, but an 'outlet' as you'd imagine it, for whatever that's worth |

there is a huge outlet mall in gasan digital complex (가산디지털단지) line one and line 7 intersects located near Anyang. there are several outlet malls. the best one i think is Mario outlet. you can find all kinds of brands. i forget what exit but when you get off the subway station you will see signs all over the station. the prices are really cheap compared to department stores. anywhere from 50-70% off. i went there to buy a coat last year. right now is a good time to buy winter clothes i think. clearence rack. have fun shopping. |

When I think of outlet stores, this is the type of place I think of. |

Buyer beware, i don't trust any of those Korean outlets selling brand names. Most likely 95% fake. In Korea if you want quality, pay for it.
It's not like Ross, TJ Max, or Loehmann's in the states where they are authorized resellers of the brands, and the brands ship directly to them from their warehouses. |
