Hello,

Does anyone one know of any Apple Service centers in Seoul or Busan?

I know of UBASE near COEX but want some other options.

I need to replace a hard drive on my 12 inch powerbook
I spoke to UBASE and they'll do the labor but I have to buy the hard drive
elsewhere. They quoted me an 80GB drive and I'd like to get the largest I could get: This is what I want, would like to find it in Seoul

250GB 9.5mm 5400RPM Western Digital hard drive.

9.5 mm high drive for maximum capacity slimline portable applications
Specifications: Storage Capacity: 250GB. Interface: Ultra ATA 100: Form Factor: 2.5-inch x 9.5mm.

You should be able to find a replacement hard drive pretty much anywhere. but I think the best prices would probably be in Yongsan. I bought a replacement hard drive at an electronics store in Coex, but I got ripped off because I was in a hurry and couldn't shop around. It was a 2.5" drive that was actually packaged as an external harddrive. It looked something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J1HPXK?ie=UTF8&tag=metstadie-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000J1HPXK

I removed the hard drive itself from the shell (very easy) and got the guys at Ubase to install it in my MacBook.

For a list of service centers in Korea, click here:

Look under "Portable Products Service Provider".

I've only used UBase in Coex, so I'm not sure what these others are like.
