I've been in korea a year and have been living down south , well out of seoul , so I'm not very familiar with the city.
I have a situation at the moment and I'm hoping someone here will be able top give me the inside story as to what goeson in these wine bars in Apgujeong. Basically, a girl I know has started working part time in one of these places and is slow to give any info on the bar...not even the name. Of course, this sounds really dodgy and shady to me and I've since finished with her...but I'm curious as to what goes on in these bars and what shes capable of doing. She comes off real innocent as most of them do and says that nothing sleazy goes on. Shes a model and says her job is to introduce other models whenever the owner needs them and that they just sit and talk to the mostly male customers.
She only works there once or twice a week at most but how can she be making any money working once or twice a week? Which brings doubts to my mind of course. The owner of the bar also owns a room salon...which further fuels the fire of doubt.
Anyway, I'm aware this topic is well off the beaten track here but hopefully someone in the know can give me some info.

I wouldnt put it past that this is an expensive hostess or callgirl bar masquerating as an expensive wine bar/lounge.
