I like the King Parrot. My gf friend's mother loves birds and has several big exotic birds she would love it. But 1 mill is way out of my league.

If you need to give it a good (korean) home i can do it, money will be very small.

Good luck finding homes for all those little guys.

Seeing those poor birds in those little cages is the saddest thing. IMHO people who buy birds, which are built to fly, and stick them in little pet cages for their own amusement need to be punched right in the face!!!

And the bird with the question mark appears to be a budgie.

How DID you get them all home?

I hope you find nice homes for them all, as you are trying to do. I'd offer to help, but I have two big, American cats I brought with me, and as sweet as they are I'm sure they'd torment/eat anything smaller than them I'd bring home, or get stressed out and pee all over my bed again. :-/

The first too pictures look like Syrian hamsters, in which case be careful as when they are adults they will often fight and kill each other.

The third picture looks like Russian hamsters, super cute but do have a tendancy to nip a bit.

With all of these be careful, I used to have hamsters years ago and every three weeks I would end up with new baby ones....If they do start breeding then be careful as it can be bad for the femals health to have several litters, especially in a short period of time. I really would look at seperating them, at least into same sex groups but syrian hamsters are generally kept solo due to their tendancy to fight. SOmetimes they won't fight if together from birth but it is a risk.

I got them home with help from someone working at the petstore that had a van.

To CanadianBanana, I'm following up on some no kill animal shelters but I'll definitely contact you during the week. Would she only be willing to take the parrot? She could take all of the animals for a very cheap price haha.

And to anyone who is curious, the parrot is a female Eclectus parrot, which can range anywhere from $700 to $2000. But i wouldn't expect anyone to be able to afford that or want to pay it. Just some extra information. Plus to whoever said they're not mice but gerbils, then I apologise. It was a bit difficult for me to tell. I've only ever had one rat before.

An animal lover who doesn't know what species her pets are? I clicked on the "rats" and just from that one picture I could tell they weren't rats.

I've never owned a rat.

I'm not a troll, but thanks for your help with my situation. Just because I'm an animal lover doesn't mean I'm expected to know every species out there. It means I care about all kinds of animals, regardless of what they are. The only reason I thought they were rats was because they looked a little similar to a rat I used to own. Can't say I'm too familiar with the gerbils and hamsters.

What I don't understand, is what the difference is living in your house compared to the pet shop? Sure, maybe they have water, but do you really take your birds out and give them individual attention? If you have a full time job teaching English how can you possibly devote enough time to any of these animals so that they feel "comforted"?

This is absolutely ridiculous.
