I was teaching a class the other day and the topic was "making a wish." More than half my middle school girls wished for plastic surgery but were upset because their parents are making them wait until high school before they get plastic surgery. I was in awe. Is this really the social norm here? |

I understand the eye thing because their mothers push it on them, but the chin shaping, nose jobs and trimming of the calf muscles is just insane. |

Eyes, nose are the most common.
Chin shaping, calf muscle, and boobs are rare. Not many get them unless they actually have really wide jaw, or big nasty calves. |
