|
|
Hello,
Sorry if this question has been asked way too many times before. I've heard there's a sauna for men to crash at the airport. Anyone heard of a sauna for women? If not, anyone know a cheap place to sleep? I'm flying out next month. Thanks a lot. |

The jjimjilbang is for men and women. There's separate saunas and then a mixed lounge in the middle (with sofas and what not).
Its on the basement floor of the airport, across from the Starbucks and down a little ways. Cost is 15,000 won and you get pajamas for the evening and a big locker to store your bags. If you want to pay 10,000 won more, you can get a private room, but I made do just fine on one of the sofas in the lounge . . . |

Last time I checked (sept/Oct), the jjbang was sealed up tight, as if it were out of business. Were they remodeling or something? Is it back? |

I'll be arriving late one night in March & sounds like a fine idea for an early morning flight: does it need booking?... |

It was open around Jan. 4th 2009. They said it had opened (re-opened) recently before that time.
The rooms may cost a little more than 10,000 won. Unsure about 2 people being allowed or not??
Nice place to soak and crash after a long flight. |

Thanks to everyone here answered my question that I initially posted.
Yes it's open. It's NOT W10,000. It's 20,000/person. If you want a private room then add 12,000. I did just fine on the couch. It's a sauna for both men and women. Enter the airport, turn right (if you turn left, then you will have to walk back as the sauna is on the other side, understand me?) Take the elevator. It's on the basement. I also discovered that there are restaurants that open really late until 11pm and reopen early in the morning around 7am. They're on the basement as well. |

Thanks! This sounds like a great idea, since I'll be there for only 12 hours before my flight to Jeju! |

Hi,
Here's a website...
http://seoulplay.wordpress.com/2008/12/27/spa-on-air-incheon-international-airport/
I think they will turn a blind eye to sharing the room with a friend.....but the room is small and they give one basic bed and towel/head rest, reading lamp.
If someone is planning to use the floor in the small room you may want to bring something for extra comfort, eg. blanket / pillow.
Otherwise there is the lounge area...but they have lights on there until late. |
