She works in and loves Seoul - gotta be in a big city - at a high school she hates, working long hours and frustrated in the classroom by a coteacher who interferes and gossips and students who don't learn much. She is married with a kid of her own, hoping to get out of ESL soon and back to her home country ASAP.

She loves bondeggi but prefers nonspicy British food, enjoys fish and chips and greasy, oily Chinese takeout from back home.

She doesn't come on Dave's much but when she's on she sticks around for hours and hours on end, enjoying the banter on classic topics, over and over again. She lurks more than posts and loves the Korean-friendly direction Dave's has taken in recent years.

She doesn't save any money and can't understand how others could given today's climate. She can't wait to leave but she has nothing but good things to say about the local culture she finds herself in.

She is so... so.... not me!

She's an Oprah fan and see's herself as quite spiritual.

She does yoga now, but used to do pilates (sp)......and whatever else Madonna used to do.

She's a vegetarian and see's drinking to excess and smoking as anti-social and downright unhealthy.

She's into small gestures. Like buying little presents or giving hugs to someone who looks down. Not that she really cares about anyone else really. It's just something Oprah says to do.

She thinks that saying she's a christian and going to church means that she is a 'good' person.

She thinks that people who use a wide vocabulary are just showing off.

She has, at last count, 4 different allergies and 79 foods that she will never eat.

She diets. She's 39, but still listens to whatever infantile pop sensation is the fad this year. She has a cute stuffed toy on her desk which in some way represents her home country.

She talks way too much about her love-life.

She tells you about a past life-trauma in the same way that she tells you what she had for lunch.

If you're anything like this person.....please don't be offended if we don't become friends.

He is fat, bald, and enjoys beer.
He has never been to a single club.
He would watch only sports.
He has never read a single book in his life, not even for school.
He hates animals.
He hates travelling. He hates other cultures.
He really enjoys watching movies and hates eatting outside.
He really loves couples, espcially that whole couple-wear thing.
He plays it safe and has never taken a gamble in his life.
He loves his parents.
He is unreliable.
He loooooooooooooooooooooves country music and only country music.
He's probably in the military too given that he loves authority and is weak-minded and utterly amenable to every suggestion thrown at him.

I'm so glad that that isn't me.

His politics are "fair and balanced"
She didn't bother to vote in the 2008 election.
He loves to talk about the fugliness of American women, but he's significantly overweight and sports a mullet with a comb-over on top.
She went somewhere amazing on her last vacation, but only explored the beach and the ex-pat party scene.
He thinks that he's smarter than everyone else because of his religion or lack thereof.
She thinks that visiting fake temples and phony villages are a good way to experience the real Korea.
He tries to "seal the deal" after about three minutes of small talk, and then once his offer is declined, has nothing more to say.
She is just working for a paycheck and has no interest in becoming a better teacher.
He has open contempt for his fellow ex-pats.

Knowles has been exposed to issues of social awareness.. founded the Survivor Foundation, a charitable entity set up to provide transitional housing for 2005 Hurricane Katrina victims and storm evacuees...

...Knowles wrote "Stand Up for Love," which would serve as the anthem of World Children's Day, an event which takes place annually around the world on November 20 to raise awareness and funds for children's causes worldwide. Destiny's Child lent their voices and support as global ambassadors for the 2005 World Children's Day program.

Knowles conducted food drives during stops on The Beyonc Experience tour in Houston on July 14, Atlanta on July 20, Washington, D.C. on August 9, Toronto on August 15, Chicago on August 18, and Los Angeles on September 2, 2006.[103] On October 4, 2008, Knowles attended the Miami Children's Hospital Diamond Ball & Private Concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, where she was inducted into the International Pediatric Hall of Fame. Ethan Bortnick, the seven-year old musical sensation, dedicated and performed "Over the Rainbow" to Knowles.[104]

You never did volunteer work? never helped out on a food drive? Children's Day? disaster relief?

I pegged you all wrong jaj.

She's female, gay, short, black, and a teetotaller.

She's a wage-slave, lives from payday to payday, in a cramped little officetel, in Gangnam. (okay, this was me for years & years)

Liberal on most issues, though she doesn't care a whit about the environment.

Outspokenly atheist, but down deep she's uncomfortable about that.

She's up on all the mega-popular American TV shows, never misses an episode. That woman watches a staggering amount of television.

Facebook! Myspace! Facebook! Myspace!

She loathes all movies and music from the 1920s to 1950s.

She regards any night in London spent at the theatre a night tragically wasted. Well, she hates London to begin with.

She cannot sing or play a musical instrument. Particularly not the piano or cello.

She's a Korea-hugger of the first water when the camera's on, but finds herself unable to adjust personally or make peace with this country, and therefore, despite all protestations to the contrary, she secretly hates living here. Go figure.

Damn, Eamo.. what does that say about ME??

I like watching Oprah from time to time and I think I am fairly spiritual.

I am going to start doing yoga very, very soon..

I buy little (and big) gifts ALL THE TIME, and I love hugging people. Only difference is I DO care.

I have several teddy bears on my office desk...

I spend a lot of money on facial and hair and my nails.

So we will never be friends Sad

Someone who believes opposite = bad or scary and not just different. I was thinking about this, and nearly everyone I know and care about in the least is the opposite of me in some way. Unadventurous, meat-loving, tv-watching people who are too absorbed in their own lives to take an interest in the world around them are the norm, after all. Some of them are still wickedly funny, great listeners and kind people though.
