What are the average prices for a maid in Seoul? Maybe to come for a block of hours, once per week. I've got a 4 bedroom 2 bath place.

Our place has 4 floors with 11 rooms. All of our maids are currently too busy.

ask your boss, they normally know people looking for work, or advertise at a uni, students are always after abit of easy cash....id think it would be cheaper than going thru an agency or someone advertising...

I have a students mom come into my place once a week, costs me 20,000w for about 3 or 4 hours work...she really just stays as long as it takes to get the job done....My cleaner really works hard as well, i even have my veranda tiles scrubbed

Also i never see her as she collects the key from the reception at work, and returns it when im done....best thing i ever did was getting her :0

The name in Korean is 파출부. I think they charge anywhere between 30,000 to 50,000 won a day.

You can hire Filipinas to clean, but I hear they're not as good as the Korean ajummas.

I've asked everyone I know for a maid/housecleaner but I'm in a very rural area and no one seems to know. you'd think with the number of unemployed there'd be a lot of eager housewives looking to make a bit of cash to help out these days. maybe it's my location though...

For us, 30,000 won for about 4 hours work.
