Teen behind bomb threats, say police
http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2899707
January 12, 2009
The culprit behind prank bomb threats to Incheon and Gimpo international airports has turned out to be a bored 13-year-old middle school student.
Gangseo Police Precinct said on Saturday that it is questioning a student identified only by the surname Cha in Wonju, Gangwon Province. Cha reportedly confessed to police that he made the calls because he was bored. The boy will be sent to family court after the questioning process is completed.
According to police, Cha made several such calls on Jan. 8 and 9. The calls led explosive ordnance disposal teams, police officers and national intelligence agents to search the two airports for hours for the nonexistent bombs.
Every year, either airports or airlines receive 10 to 20 prank calls, all of which turn out to be false. Such calls completely disrupt airport operations as airport authorities need to check not only the airport facilities but also every passengers luggage, said a police officer who declined to be named.
Passengers become the victims, as they have no other option but to wait until service resumes. Airlines also are victims, as they need to completely change their flight schedules as well.

He should be forced to clean toilets at Gimpo airport, 12 hours a day, until he's 18 y.o. |

Prove it.
The last story I read about a crime committed by a foreigner had the American named as "Mr. A."
So, go on and back up your claim, Knee Jerk. |

Can't back up your claims? Don't know how to respond with a reasonable argument? Then just pull out the "You are an apologist/gyopo/Korean netizen" insult. Used by only the biggest losers on Dave's! |

Here's some very recent news about a Korean suspect - posting his full name.

Now, mind proving that the mainstream korean media has posted the information listed by sobriquet? |

Yes, I am. . . in the U.S. Though I'm coming to Korea for six weeks in a few weeks for a sabbatical. |
