This has nothing to do with Korea, but I thought I'd post it.

I just got an email from a good college friend of mine. Told me to call him about some sad news. This wont sound very tragic to most people, but I was shocked. My Academic Advisor back in college and my good dear friend and Professor died after giving child birth.

We were close and she was a person I admired very much. I'm just shocked and kind of wish I was home now. Strange feeling to feel far away from your friends and family.

Just keep those who you care about the most close. You never know when they pass.

Que Dios le bendiga Dra. Goodrich.

My grandfather just passed away a few weeks ago. It's was very weird for me. In one hand, he was a loved one who passed away. In the other, was the distance I felt.

I don't know if it didn't really hit me yet that he's gone, but I'm sure it will when I come back home. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about that. Sucks to lose people who've been a big part of your life.

That said, I must ask: Did the child survive?

I hope not.

Sorry to hear that. Not only the child but the husband as well will be so traumatized. One later, one now.
