I'm off from Jan 20 to Feb 8 and not sure what to do. Reckon I could just fly down to Thailand as long as I can get a flight. Would like to spend 10 days or so somewhere different, warm or hot weather, not too expensive, hit some bars, a beach, relax, have some good grub, maybe meet a girl, whatever.
Online flights to Philippines looked expensive from here. I'll find out more come Monday when I go to Nanjing for an office meeting.
Any ideas are welcome. |

| I found the Philippines to be a lot more expensive than Thailand. For example my hotel In Bangkok was 600 baht and one in Manila was 2500 pesos with about equal exchange raes for baht and pesos to the won. |
