| The Urban Dictionary has an entry from 2005 so it's not that new. But I've been seeing it on TV a lot these days. Anyway, bro-mance. Bro-friends. Ugg. |

Strange word.. I would substitute comaraderie or maybe switch to Greek and try Phileo. The word just sounds wrong, and it reminds me of "bromide", which is completely unrelated.
You know, in a couple centuries, idiotic words like this will probably be considered common English, and there will be new, even worse words to rally against.
Your location is odd, especially considering that hospitals in general, and special careplaces for maimed or unwanted children, were started by people who were religiously motivated and were generally headed by religious orders. |

So hospices are proof of religious people--no atheist would suggest that there are no religious people. Do you think the existence of children dying of incurable diseases proves the existence of God? |

Perhaps Hemingway's greatest short story:
For sale: Baby shoes. Never used. |

No, I think it proves the existence of an bad (not thoroughly, but at least partly) world, which I have a basis to judge as bad because of a set of standards which goes beyond what happens in this world. An atheist would have no solid basis for judging incurable diseases as absolutely bad, thus no reason to start a children's hospice. If the children die, it's natural selection at work. |

I never liked that one. It's just sappy, not properly pathetic. |

There's the classic "If Adam and Eve Never Met". Runs zero words. And then there's "He was the last man on the planet. There was a knock at the door." Or words to that effect. |

This word is getting a lot more popular.
There's even a show on MTV called "Bromance"; it's Brody Jenner's search for a new BFF.

| Jesus, who dreams this crap up? I can imagine thinking it, but would never want it to become mainstream. |

There is a movie out now in the states about this. Some guy's getting married but he has no male friends to be the best man so his future wife says she won't marry him unti he gets a guy friend. The movie is all about the "bromance" between them.
Remember the "bro" the from Seinfled? The man bra. |
