| Yesterday one of my (skinny ass) students was wearing a shirt that said 'I don't mind a little junk in the trunk'. Of course she hadn't a clue what it means. |

Those Juicy articles of clothes are a counterfeit of the Juicy Couture brand. I saw a lot of girls in China wearing sweatpants with "Juicy" across the seat before I looked up the company.
I always try to ask students if they know what it means. I saw a girl in my cafeteria with an elephant on her shirt that said "Weepublican", but she wouldn't talk to me.
You would think that these kids have good taste in music with all the logos. I always see the fake Nine Inch Nails shirts that say "number nine" on 'em and I ask if they like the band, but they don't know what it means. I saw a girl with a hoodie that had the Nine Inch Nails logo all over it, but she was a middle schooler and I didn't bother to ask. It's fun to ask the kids with Ramones shirts what their favorite Ramones song is. A lot of kids in Pohang have Black Rebel Motorcyle Club hats too.
My favorite is a tote bag that has "Descendents, Meat Puppets, Minutemen, Angst" on it with an address for some punk club. I like to ask 'em which is their favorite of the four and then they look at me like I'M weird.
I guess I'll start wearing Man. U shirts and when they ask me about soccer, I'll say "What? I don't even like soccer. It's just some fashion thing." |

| I saw a snowboard today that had "Funny! Exiting!" written on it. Board clothes tend to not have much written on them, but there are often some hideous ensembles on the slopes: mixed plaids, neon galore, baseball helmets with attached brightly coloured headphones... |
