Hi all
I've been accepted into a school in Gwang-Myung City. Can anyone recommend any blogs sites with photos of the place? Also, they said that i'll have a studio to move into, but it's not that nice but may have the opportunity to move after two months depending on the school manager....should I be worried? Plus, i'm going to be the only foreign teacher at the school.....more worried?????
Thanks to those who have answered my last post. It's great to get reassuring and honest advice.
Cheers

Apparently Gwang Myung is in Gyungi-Do, which is close to Seoul.
That is good, because you will have to go there to do ANYTHING.
If you are the only mighty whitey at the school you will be craving
conversation that isn't laboured and feels like an English class.
Therefore I would try and meet up with people and groups. 99% of
which are in Seoul.
If the Koreans say your apartment is crap, then it REALLY must be
crap. I don't want to scare you, but their idea of a nice place is a hole
in the wall with purple wallpaper and huge pink flowers. So, I would
probably hold them to their promise. |
