How long should it take for a recruiter to get back with you? I had an interview with SMOE last Sunday. It was pretty short so I think they were not interested. SMOE told me it would take 2 days for Footprints Recruiting to give me the answer. It has been a week and I know nothing. Footprints Recruiting has not responded to any of my emails or calls except for the one time I did speak to someone and he told me that it took take a few days if not weeks to find out. Is this really true? I mean Footprints advises applicants to apply early and have your documents ready but then nothing seems to be happening. I have already spent $40 on documents and completed the application in December.
Does it really take weeks to find out???? It is already mid-January and these positions start in mid-Feb. |

Welcome to the world of "You must respond immediately and then we'll let you know everything at the last possible minute." Get used to it.
Footprints is a little disorganized. Don't panic too much. That having been said, it doesn't hurt to get a little aggressive.
Meh. Anyway, those guys hang out around here looking for comments about Footprints, I think, so maybe they'll see your post and get it into gear. |

It all depends on who you have working with you at Footprints... Some of their agents are get, others are idiots...
Took them around 4 or 5 days to get back to me with my SMOE job offer... They also don't work weekends so at best you'll have to wait until Monday... |

So far my recruiter has been great. Constant contact. Calls a couple times an evening - before and after my interviews. And emails me up to 5 times an evening (morning his time). He also responds on Saturdays . |

| Try to reach Ben (manager) or Scott (recruiter). Ben is on this board and my dealings with him have been pleasant. Seems like they're 'behind in the count' due to Feb signing season. I think if you reach Ben directly you'll get a quicker answer. |

Thanks everyone that replied. I will give them a little more time but it concerns me because what if I need help in Korea. I guess I can expect the same service.
Hey I am no Picasso u r right they are disorganized. I sent my completed application on Dec. 24th. They were open on certain days and hours during the holidays but when I inquired about them receiving my application, a rep told me it was incomplete via email and then over the phone. I told her I sent it on the 24th and I had it all in my sent emails. Then she checked and was like yes we did get it and now Footprints will contact SMOE for an interview for you. She did that but then I got an email and a call from 2 other people telling me my application was incomplete again.
Anyways, for those of u in Korea. How is it? Do u like it? Is it hard to make friends? Is it hard to meet other foreigners? Is there more to do that just karaoke and drinking? |
