This is the first year that I have been here at this time of year ... What is the normal etiquette around gift giving at this time of year ... If a boss (or someone else for that matter) gives you a gift would the normal expectation be that you will give something in return ... What are you doing? |

From my 7 years of experience, it is the company that gives you the gift. There is no need for you to give one to the boss or anyone else. (Unless you are invited over to someone's house)
I always give my security guards a little something. My son goes to Gymboree, I picked up something for the teacher. |
