I work for an online Korean school teaching English (of course). They are based in South Korea and I do have a contract with them. They have not paid me for yet for services rendered and are not returning my e-mails.

How should I reslove this. Does anyone have any suggestions for the Korean labour board or something.

thanks for the help

Contact the Labour Board and stop teaching immediately. Let your ahole boss know exactly what you're doing.

Good luck to you. More the norm than the exception, unfortunately.

please post the name of the school

also - if you are teaching online - you must have access to the students?

let them know you are having pay problems - they may be getting charged for teaching hours they aren't getting as well - or being told something not legit. it would help to have them on your side.

you've been keeping records hopefully of all your hours, if not, get them together before contacting anyone.

please post updates - I, for one, am interest in teaching online and I know others that do and/or want to.

OP, you work for an ON-LINE school and can't find information about the KOREA LABOR BOARD...on-line? Yikes. Here's some help:

Go to GOOGLE.COM

Search:

Are you living in South Korea or are you in another country? Unless you are in Korea and working here legally, I doubt there is much you can do.

Yeah, if you don't work in Korea, the labor is meaningless for you.
