Racist too. During the U.S. election they kept talking about "the white vote" and "the black vote". Geez! I thought America was past that.
CNN is garbage. They represent big corporate America and the gov. I gave up on them a long time ago. If you want to know what's REALLY going on, you could turn to www.alternativeradio.org |

"Attack-fest"?
Neither point is a gender issue. If they dressed McCain in Armani suits, or if his teenage daughter became pregnant after a lifetime of preaching "family values", I'd be equally as critical.

Guys, get over it. McCain did not win. I think he was extremely shortsighted to have picked Sarah Palin. In retrospect (she was a SNL skit that they didn't even have to write -- they just quoted many of her words), but it was a gamble. I did not know this, but he ditched or had mishaps with four aircraft until his capture in Vietnam. I happen to like the guy, but did not vote for him.
Deal with Ms. Palin is that she was so incredibly unprepared for the undertaking. Scary thing is that she so appealed to the base of that party. To have her unmarried pregnant daughter up there on the stage with (boyfried who has no high school diploma - along with said girl friend) espousing family values was an incredible insult. Then, in her soon to be over 10 million dollar memoirs bemoaning the fact that the press picked on her and family is even more unbelievable. Do not put your children on the public stage, especially if there is a possible conflict of interest of said family values. It's kind of common sense, and the woman has never really gotten it. I hope she does come back, coz a woman who entertained the idea of banning books in her town's public library deserves everything but the kitchen sink thrown at her. |
