Two posters, so far, have established threads critiquing and ridiculing B. Obama and/or the judge who administered his oath of office yesterday, where, as any reasonable person might have expected, nervousness caused them to mix a word or two.

But so what? Do you consider this "a discussion?" Does this discussion promise any insight into anything whatsoever you deem important? Is this a worthy topic or, as I say, utter nonsense from start to finish.

Those who started these ridiculous threads seem to believe they are on to something, something that tells us about B. Obama's intelligence. What do you think about that?

Exhibits A, B, and C...

[W.] Bush isn't bright. But I think he managed to repeat his Inaugural pledge. Obama could not repeat correctly six words in a row. Not only did he fail to repeat what he just heard once, every line he tried to repeat was wrong.

Only dumb people have trouble repeating what they just heard.

How dumb is this guy?

Did you catch the WTF look Obama gave to Roberts during the oath of office ceremony? Roberts blatently misplaced the word "faithfully", and so Obama just looks at him like....WTF?!!!???? I think Roberts was getting back at Obama for voting against his confirmation. Unbelievable!

It's called a discussion.

Sorry, I had to vote yes. It is a discussion, albeit one with out any significance. It does however say much about those that are taking this non issue to the extreme. I value the existence of such threads if for nothing more than to expose those that would exert such effort to debate an obvious non issue.

The question should have been is this a real issue or not.

Hmm. Case closed.

Chief Justice John Roberts came to the White House tonight and administered the oath of office to President Obama at 7:35 p.m. ET in the Map Room.

"Because there was one word out of sequence" in yesterday's oath, explained White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the president took the oath again "out of an abundance of caution..."

Obama clearly screwed up first. But even the CNN commentators willfully missed that glaring fact in order to get in some digs about Roberts, who's conservative.

Not even so much as a feeble attempt at cautious reporting. Welcome to the modern mainstream news media. FoxNews got it correct, of course, which no liberal here would ever acknowledge.

I wouldn't even have posted a thread except for pointing out yet again liberal medial bias.

But you're right, Gopher, it's much ado about nothing in the end.

As much as it pains me to say it Gopher, I agree with you.

Anyway the whole thing is moot point since he repeated the oath Wed night. I'm sure the people with the tinfoil hats were foaming at the mouth trying to figure out how to file some lawsuits. Maybe their heads will explode and it will save society the trouble in the long run.
