In the UK you should check in at least 2 hours before international departures. I have no idea if this is standard worldwide. I cannot remember what the rules were previously. And I can't access my expedia account to see if it's mentioned there.
What time do they expect you to check-in at Incheon airport?
If it makes a difference, I am flying United airlines to Tokyo. |

In the United States, they suggest that you should arrive 3 hours early for international departures. It is a bit excessive in my opinion. However, I always plan to be there 3 hours early to the closest minute. If something goes wrong in transit, I can have a window. I will leave my apartment in Ulsan at 9:00 am on Saturday for a flight from Gimhae in Busan that leaves at 2:20. |

no reason to show up more than two hours in advance. they won't check you in prior to that at incheon. |

If the flight is around midnight (like mine always are) the place will be half empty anyway. No need to check in extra early. |
