Health check will likely take place on the first day of training, you'll go to a hospital with everyone and do all the tests(blood, urine, x-ray, eyes, etc.), it's not too bad. On the first day, you'll have an intro to CDI and be split into 1-2 small groups(depending on which program(s) you're training for). Could be there 3-4 hours on Monday and then head to the hospital.
On Tuesday to Friday, you go over the program in your group(s) and mock teach. Many prepare at night for the next days training and get ready for the mock teaching. You'll get info about the grammar test and rules test on Monday and probably write it on Wednesday. I think you need a 70% to pass, you can get a re-write if you fail, which close to half do. Not to worry, if you fail again they will likely just go over it with you. Doesn't necessarily mean you will fail all of training.
Many people stress out. Don't worry too much. Just be interactive in your mock teaching and appear confident. Ask questions, show energy. On Friday, you'll have your final mock which will determine if you make it through, if you've been doing well all week then the Friday might be irrelevant. |
